A character’s encumbrance limit is his Strength x5, plus 1 additional point for each ) associated with his Strength. Dwarfs are Sturdy and add +5 to their limit.
When encumbered, a character gains 1 K to all Strength, Toughness, and Agility checks for every point of encumbrance over his limits. If he is encumbered by an amount equal to or greater than his Strength, he no longer receives a free maneuver each turn (each costs 1 fatigue instead).
When a character is attempting to lift, move, or manipulate a single heavy object or perform other feats of strength, the GM should call for a Strength check, adjusting the difficulty to suit the circumstances.
